Isle & Wild is a small business with a big heart for animals.

We make hand-poured soy candles and other small-batch goods — things made for cozy nights in, seasonal rituals, and the ordinary moments that feel worth celebrating. But the candles are only part of the story. At least 10% of every sale goes to animal welfare: shelters, pet pantries, and the programs that help families keep their pets when money gets tight.

It all started with Rajah, my soulmate cat. He's a shelter rescue who made it through a hoarding situation in upstate New York before finding his way home to me in 2017. In 2023 he had a scary accident, and the vet bills that followed showed me how easily the whole system fails people and their pets. I couldn't unsee it — and I knew I wanted Isle & Wild to do something about it.

So that's the idea: make good things, and do some good with them.
